20 month old still not walking

my daughter still isn't walking she's is 20 months . she can walk a few steps but then sometimes she will panic and just squat down . how can i help her walk a few more steps and make her not panic so much . My oldest two never did this but she's sooo scared to walk

Do you think there is anything that makes her uncomfortable or is she simply scared of falling? Have you noticed if her ankles bend at all? Does she seem generally floppier than other toddlers?

Are you letting her hold your hands/finger when she is trying to walk. If not stand behind her and put your right finger in the palm of her right hand and left finger in the palm of her left hand. Walk with her keeping her hands just above head height so she can feel that she has something to keep her upright if she starts to fall, just to build her confidence.
