Choking on milk

Baby chokes on milk even with the slowest flow teat...she's pace fed in the up right position.
She tends to do this more when she's sleepy on the bottle. Any tips ? I hate it 😭

Try feeding her when she's more alert? What age is baby?

5 weeks. She's very alert when she first has the bottle but falls asleep half way sometimes :(
But she's still hungry

@rainbowMIT My LO was doing this on the TT bottles (as a newborn) so we switched to Mam and it made the world of difference. The Mam bottles have a different teat shape.

My LO also did this when he was younger, could be very scary sometimes. Agree with Magpie21, we switched from TT to MAM and they are much better. We also used a thicker milk (anti reflux one) as he also suffered quite badly with wind a reflux which helped massively X
