Change in nappy content

For about 4 weeks my 17 month DD hasn't had a solid soiled nappy. They are very loose. We've not changed anything she eats and have eliminated foods such as apples and corn on the cob as she absolutely loves these and I wondered if this was causing it. She has been teething but that was at the start of the change in nappies. DD is eating and drinking well, no change in mood, sleeping etc... I don't want to go the Dr as I think I'll be laughed off as a first time mum being silly. Any thoughts as to why there is a change? Thanks.

I did go to the doctors with this. My DS1 was a horrible teether and he had runny poo for weeks. The doctor put it down to toddler diarrhoea and wasn't concerned.

I think it was largely due to teething though. It felt like every tooth he had was such an agonising ordeal.

By contrast my DS wakes up with a new tooth and I didn't even know she was teething. I think some babies have it worse that others.

Thanks for replying. We don't know DD is teething until we spot a new tooth and she has gotten 2 of the backs through recently. We are just puzzled as to what is causing it. I think I'll see how she goes over the next few days then call the Dr.
