Clingy 1 year old getting me down

My little boy has recently got so clingy with me, I can't leave the room, even when I sit on the floor to play with him he just jumps all over me, throws things at me, bites me, I literally don't get a minute. I dread being on my own with him because it's worse then. I've cried every day this week. His whinging goes through me and I get so stressed and naggy with him. I know he just loves me more than anyone else which is lovely but its really getting me down. Does anyone else have this with their LO?

It's a phase - it will pass. Soon you'll find he is more independent and you'll get to have a hot cup of tea and read a book for half or so Smile

If he is hurting you when play fighting tell him gently not to hurt mummy.

But if anything - cherish these times - it's really hard when you're just so fed up! I've been there! My DD is nearly 2 and I could have written the same post myself when she was 12 months - but I can now see how quickly they grow up - I'm getting all the hugs and lovely cuddles I can now!!!

Stay strong mumma bear
