Clothing issues!

Hi, I'm not sure if this will be the best place to post..
My nearly 4 year old son has a lot of sensory issues, he's with senco at his nursery due to his speech delay and they are aware of his struggles in other areas.
However my main issue at the moment is getting him dressed, he screams and cries that all underwear/socks and trousers hurt him and doesn't like anything around his neck like hoods/high neck tops and cuffs etc. Due to his nursery being closed it isn't too much of a problem at home but I'm struggling to get him to even wear pants/boxers. He will scream and throw a tantrum that they hurt him, I'll try and distract him when they're on with stickers or singing but as soon as he goes to the toilet he strips them off and refuses to put them back on. It has happened a few times whilst he's been in nursery but it seems to have gotten worse the past couple of months - so I want to try and help him as much as possible before he returns!
Sorry it's so long winded, I just don't know what to do, I was looking at seam free underwear but they're all tight fitting which seems to trigger him like with socks, waistbands, cuffs etc.
Thanks in advance 🙂

they have an elastic waistband but they are loose fitting. I think you could remove the elastic and just sew them so that they fit his waist without needing the elastic iyswim.

Thank you, I have tried him with some like that, he kept them on whilst not wearing trousers but when I put trousers on top the legs on the boxers rolled up and he went mad 😖 I might try them back on him just around the house see how he feels then introduce trousers on top after he gets used to them. I just know then when he's back at school we will have an almighty battle every morning 😣 x

oh, I see. I think I would do what you said, try just boxers around the house until he gets used to them again, and then maybe trousers like these, since they have baggy legs so the pants are less likely to bunch up? When you put them onto him, reach down into the trouser leg and make sure the pants are straightened out.
all the best x
