Flashing the Neighbours!

DD(8) & I took advantage of the good weather on Sat p.m. to sit out in the garden (while DH & DS were at football). Soon DD had stripped off and was in the paddling pool whilst I was sitting topless on the sun lounger. All was well until my mother turned up unexpectedly and proceeded to lecture me on our "exhibition" and what the neighbours would think! I have previously spoken to our elderly next door neighbours when we first moved in as I did not wish to cause offence with my sunbathing and they were fine about it. We do not have much contact with our other neighbours but no-one seems to be bothered. Is it me or is my dear mother just being old-fashioned and/or over-protective about DD being undresses in our garden?

If your neighbours are fine about it and you and your dd are not embarassed or uncomfortable, then it is nothing to do with your mother.

You wre lucky that it was that warm - enjoy the sun while you can!
