12 month old panics when in public rest room

Has anyone had this? Has happened twice now. She used to come in with me fine but all of a sudden she screams and trembles in fear as soon as we enter one. She's not agreed if the sounds as they have both been empty. Just the room / space itself. I'm worried as we are stuck abroad (have been for months due to covid) and flying home to Uk in July. She was amazing on flight out here but now mum thinks she has some phobia of confined spaces. Now I'm probably overthinking it. Just curious if anyone has come across this, especially in a baby so young.
