She has kicked me and fought me twice since lunch. She wouldn't do as she was told so I picked her up and took her to her room. Currently banging around upstairs.

She is 4.

I think the answer lies in your second paragraph

Wisteria · 21/09/2007 14:07

You answered your own question

MamaGabriellaMontez · 21/09/2007 14:07

LOL cd, yep, she's 4

NAB3 · 21/09/2007 14:11

So not like her.

Just went up and she had thrown her quilt on the floor and was screwing up paper from her noticeboard.

Is now crying, want to cuddle her, but also she has to know it is unacceptable. My throught (that isn't spelt right) hurts where she went in to me.

She is prob sickening for something

DD gets like this when she is getting a cold etc

MamaGabriellaMontez · 21/09/2007 14:15

Aw sorry nab, sounded a bit flippant.

its very very hard when they behave like this, my DD was usually great, but had times when she was an absolute monster.

Everybody talks about the terrible twos, but she could be an absolute beast at 4.

HAs your DD started school yet?

MamaGabriellaMontez · 21/09/2007 14:15

(did you get to the bottom of hte poss wee infection?

CountessDracula · 21/09/2007 14:15

pmsl @ absolute beast

DANCESwithTheMorningOff · 21/09/2007 14:16

I'd go for the brewing a cold answer myself. Mine are a nightmare when they are about to be ill...usually better when they actually are ill as just sleep and grumble a bit!

Meid · 21/09/2007 14:17

My DD will behave like this when she's hungry, thirsty or tired.
I usually send her to her room then take her up milk and a snack and have a chat about her behaviour.
After relaxing, eating and drinking she comes back a different person.
HTH.

Hi MGM

She is fine now though I can't remember why I thought she had one. Thank you for asking.

She has been doing mornings only at school for 3 weeks. Tiredness perhaps? Just never seen her physical like that before.

ahahaaaaaa
thyere's your answer

DD has done one week
She was a fiend last night

NAB3 · 21/09/2007 14:19

She had a v small lunch. Since being at school she has had a small amount to eat at lunch times, maybe having fruit break and milk fills her up.

Has she just started school? Is she knackered? My daughter was FOUL to me when she started school, she was just so exhausted. Change in pace. Also, my mother-in-law (wise woman, has her moments) told me that often when they start school they have to concentrate so hard on being good, that they usually will rebel at home because they have had to be miss goody two shoes all day, so now they want to do what the hell they want. So she warned me, and she was right. It'll get better.

MamaGabriellaMontez · 21/09/2007 14:20

she's possibly tired, a bit overwhelmed with school and hitting out the person closest to her - you.

I'm sure it will pass

NAB3 · 21/09/2007 14:21

I am sure she is an angel at school and she has just developed her cheeky phase. Bit scarey. Hope it doesn't last long....

All quiet. Going up to see her now.

good luck

NAB3 · 21/09/2007 14:24

I went in and straight away she said she didn't feel very well.

Her throat (that's how you spell it!!) hurts and her middle toe.
