2.5 yo doesn't call me mummy?

I've always been with her and tending to her needs very well. She can say daddy and can ask "daddy, milk?" She used to say mum mum when she was about 8 months when she was upset but that was it. She has a speech/language delay but she's got better with her words in the last 6 months.
She was on the pathway to be assessed for ASD but she seems very borderline. Anyone have any advice?

So what does she call you to get your attention?... on average dad/daddy tends to come before mum/mummy as it it's easier to say phonetically.

She doesn't really call us that much but she does occasionally when she wants something now. She tends to call me daddy but now she's realised I'm not daddy and instead calls me nanny now!

Do you call yourself mummy when you talk to her? If not, start doing that, just use 'mummy' lots and lots do she hears it all the time. It will come!

So , say 'give that to mummy' instead of 'give that to me'. Or 'let mummy help you with your shoes' etc.

Yeah I do that already. It's weird because we were looking in the mirror and I pointed to myself and said mummy. She now does that too so she knows I'm mummy, but just won't call me mummy.

I have a 16 month old who won't call me mummy she calls me Babs. I point to myself and say mummy and my other 3 kids call me mum/mummy but she will end up pointing to herself and say mummy or to me and say Babs. She can say mummy and knows who I Am but just never calls me it..

It's weird isn't it? My daughter can say it clear as day.. she just doesn't use it for me. At least she's not calling anyone else mummy either lol

Yeah mine can aswell makes you think where they pick it up from. Me and my husband joke about what are names are as were use to be called mum or dad when people say are real name were like who me ..
