Formula / cows milk

Hey my baby is 10months next week and has always been the best eater. He has 3 meals a day with water in between. He usually has 7oz when he wakes, 7oz around 2ish then a bedtime 7oz at 6:30/7:00.
Recently he has been refusing his afternoon feed and sometimes bedtime feed. I have seen on previous posts this can be normal but it means he is waking at 2am for formula as he is hungry. (Prior to these last few weeks he has always slept solid 12hrs from 8weeks!)
Should I still persist with the formula or try cows milk?? He is going through a leap so will that have anything to do with it?

I wouldn't switch to cows milk but just give him food instead of a milk feed. Also in the evening you could give him porridge with milk instead of a milk feed. My youngest didn't have a bottle for bed from 7 months old and by 9 months was only on 1 bottle a day, first thing in the morning. I live abroad and this is normal guidelines here
