Potty Training

So I need help ! My Little boy now 2 years 4 months has been potty training for the last 8 weeks . He initially did so so well with the wees and by the end of week 1 was having no accidents ! However the past week hes started to do a little bit in his pants and the rest in potty or toilet ? Is this a sign of regression ?/ any tips to get it back to how it was Again?
The main issue however is the poos 😐ever since day one he Dosent want to go on the potty or toilet to do a poo he's done a few on their but it's more where we've caught them in it. But the past couple of weeks it's got dreadful he's holding on to it for days and then when he does go he will try and save it for his nappy at bed time . With loads of tiny poo accidents in his big boy pants in the day. With a lot of meltdowns along the way. Really starting to pull my hair out with it ! Anyone got any tips or had similar experiences ? Any help would be hugely appreciated! TIA
Ps. I've done all the normal things of bribes and treats, sitting him on the potty/toilet after each meal ...

If he is resisting to the point that he is having tantrums about it and holding it in then it might just be a sign that he is not quite ready yet, i.e. forcing/bribing him will not work if he is not ready.

I've heard that poos can come later on, when I trained my DD she still wanted her nappy to do poos and then eventually she just started doing them on the potty and toilet and she has now said she doesn't want to wear any nappies to bed so we're now nappy free.

We did go through a regression where she would wet herself on purpose we chose to continue and ignore it (because she was nearly 3) and that phase passed.

The problem is they control it and there's nothing really parents can do apart from bribe and we all know how stubborn toddlers can be. I guess it comes down to either ride it out and accept that it could be a phase or go back to nappy's for a bit.

I know this is not what you want to hear - but just give him time. He will get there... just keep talking to him about it. There is one good story - Poo goes to pooland, it helped me quite a lot. They now love sending poo to pooland!

Try looking on the potty training section, it's probably the most commonly asked thing
