Baby tv

My son is 26 months and still loves baby tv. He hasn't really got into CBeebies etc. Is this normal? Shouldn't he want to watch older stuff or does it not matter?

I hear my sister saying how my nephews loved Mickey Mouse and paw patrol at that age but my son wouldn't know who they are as he prefers his baby tv

It's fine. Limit TV as much as possible and when he does watch it let him watch what he enjoys.

Is your nephew a younger child while your child is an only/oldest child?

Kids with older siblings often watch and know "older" stuff because of their siblings. For example my son could name WWE wrestlers when his friends were more not Thomas the Tank Engine.

It doesn't matter if your son watched BabyTV or CBeebies - they are both for kids
