When does the excited screaming stop? (boys ages 6&8)

Hello all! I'm not a parents but I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere, so I was hoping some of the collective knowledge here might help. I'm trying to find out at approximately what age kids (specifically boys, if there's any difference) grow out of the 'shouting about everything (in excitement, in frustration, etc)' and 'high pitched shrieking' stages?

The background is that a family with two boys ages 6 and 8 have just moved in next door, and they are, well, LOUD, especially when in the garden. Just to be clear, I fully accept that this is totally normal for the age, and so far as I cantell the boys seem bright and articulate and the parents seem really engaged and always speaking calmly even when kids are over excited, so I don't think anything more can be asked at this point. I'm just wondering how long before they naturally grow out of it? A couple of years? More?

Manythanks inadvance!

This seems a little bit old to be screaming every time they get excited! Is it constant or just when something particularly special happens?

It's not constant exactly, more like frequent yelps in play? I think it's mostly the younger one who screams in that, the older one tends to speak/shout understandable words, as though he's having trouble modulating his volume in excitement.

I think I'll just have to deal with it for the next couple of years, should be better when schools open again (I would from home even in non-virus times and my office is just next to their new swingset, which isn't helping)!

My step sons (8 and 9) are like this, especially the one with ADHD. It is a truly awful volume and makes me feel nauseous sometimes!

I hope they grow out of it. But I have this feeling they'll be very loud teenagers too.

I commiserate! Genuinely find that earplugs with ear defenders over the top help. Seriously.

Xxx
