Tight skin

Hi there

My 2 year old keeps complaining of being ‘sore’ then holding his penis. When I ask where it hurts he points to the end of his penis. When he pees it jets out at an odd angle and it all seems very tight down there. I haven’t tried to move it as I know you aren’t supposed to but when he fiddles with it there’s no movement it looks like.

I took him to the doctor with concerns over the direction of pee wondering if it was because his foreskin was too tight about 6 months ago but she said it takes a while for them to loosen it all up.

Has anyone got any experience of this that they can help with?

Ds2 was given a steroid cream will helped a lot so you should contact your GP again and ask for it. Look it up meanwhile. We were living in Italy at that time, and we had a GP prescription for the first one but as it was an over the counter cream, the next one was given to us without prescription

Have a read of this from the NHS. Agree with the PP who suggests going to see the GP, ours are currently offering video or phone calls
