My 5mth old ds has recently started refusing bottles if I feed him, crying when I hold him and it honestly feels like he tolerates my company until daddy appears.
I have recently gone back to work and my partner has a month off to look after the baby. I teach early years and am having a major wobble that my baby hasn't formed an attachment with me (despite me only just leaving him to go to work). He has always been bottle fed and will take a whole bottle from his dad but when I feed him he screams. He used to sleep on me all the time but now when I hold him he doesn't settle and cries until I give him to his dad.
I know it is probably just a phase and I am overthinking things due to the mum guilt of returning to work kicking in but I would really appreciate some reassurance.
