Obviously I know the advice Is 6 months, my little one is 23 weeks and I’m beginning to introduce a few things because she’s got her head in a spin fascinated by anyone eating. She even keeps opening her mouth when her brothers eating his breakfast. 🤣

When did you wean and did you listen to the 6 months rule?
What are your weaning experiences?

I eased my LO into food from about 5m but he just got things to lick, like raw carrots, cucumbers and some pita bread. He never actually ate any of that, just played with the food.

Ge got to lick progressively more food as he was going through his 5m but I really want to BF till about a year so I was not too pushy.

He started getting one portion of solids at about 5m3w (sweet potato, carrots, rice) and he took to it well. He is 6.5m now and gets 2 portions of solids a day, and he is BF throughout as well.
