Is this wrist rotating?

Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if this is considered wrist rotating?

(towards the end of video)

My LG (5 months old) seems to do it with only this hand and it's when she's upset and sometimes excited.

If it is, is it anything to worry about?

Thank you! 🙂

Hi I have attached a new video which shows what I'm trying to say better.

Please let me know if you think this is something to worry about or if my mind is just in overdrive 😳

What are you worried about OP?
The video just looks like a healthy baby wriggling around a bit to me.
I googled wrist rotating but it hasn't come up with anything that is worrying in babies?

Are you thinking about hand flapping as an indicator of autism, OP? If so, this only applies when they are quite a bit older: babies this age are only just discovering their body parts and are fascinated by them.

Or are you thinking of hyperextending the joint as a sign of hypermobility? Not sure this is how it manifests in young babies: general floppiness would be a stronger sign.
