Very worried :(

I’m looking for a bit of advice about my 15 month old. I’ve had worries about him for such a long time, sometimes I feel like there’s nothing to worry about but deep down i feel like I know somethings not right.

He walks, babbles, smiles, laughs, good eye contact, puts arms up to be lifted, throws balls, builds two blocks and can be affectionate he also responds to his name being called (most of the time).

Things he doesn’t do - he doesn’t point, doesn’t wave, doesn’t clap, has no actual words, doesn’t hold his cup or spoon, and seems to be very repetitive in his play. He pushes the same car along the floor but will also push other objects along the floor/ sofa like tv remotes, baby wipes anything really. Sometimes he lies on the floor and does it.

I’m driving myself mad, I want to help him but I don’t know what steps to take. I’ve spoken to my HV who said he seemed fine but I just can’t shake this feeling.

Does anyone have any advice who have been in this situation? Or have had a child that behaved similarly?

Hi, for 15 months he sounds like he's doing well, don't worry! No baby or child does things in the same order, some master certain skills before others do and vice versa.

He's still very young and will be learning quickly and taking it all in.

Guys , i dont know how to open a thread so im gonna ask here. Please help me please.

My daughter is 12 months old, she doesnt respond to her name at all . She doesnt play pikaboo, doesnt know body parts. Im so worried & cant stop crying.

But she knows how to turn off the light , and she knows that its sleep time when we do that since she cries and doeant like it.
She sits, stands up, walk by bed sides, eat by herself (doesnt know how to drink)
She plays with her toys, loves tv aloooot and keep shouting and smiling while watching.
She feels my absence and cries if i leave,.
When i uproach to hold her she comes directly.
She bubbles dadadadad babababa kakakkak.
When she is thirsty she keep doing the sound brrrrr brrrrrr
But she doeant pay attention when i call her or when im trying to teach her stuff

What do u think

@Ossyna she sounds completely normal, she's only just 1yr old.

I think you ought to reach out to your HV or GP about your levels of anxiety around this, you sound like you're really struggling and there's definitely help available.
