How long for adult teeth to come through?

DD is 5.9 and her top two teeth came out at the beginning of this year - so far there is no sign at all of any new ones! She lost 4 bottom teeth around the same time and they have all grown nicely.... is it normal for some teeth to take that long to come through?

Ds1's fell out in January and it was October I think before the new ones came. Dentist said it was on the slow side but nothing out of the ordinary. Then the new ones were so huge looking but have settled down (2 yrs later) and he has a lovely smile.

Did you have any signs of any coming through at all for all that time? DD has just had/got nothing - not even the edge just under the gum...

ds is 6 now and none of his teeth have shown any signs of coming out!
