Lately my 12 week old daughter has started doing some strange little movement quite often...intrigued as to what it means!

She kind of brings her closed fists to her face, scrunches her face up then pulls her arms down and out quickly...kind of squirming. It’s hard to describe...it looks like she’s irritated by something but doesn’t cry. She does it many times a day so just wondering if anyone can shed any light!

My little one (now 13 weeks) does the same. He has done for around 2-3 weeks now. I have just thought it is him figuring out his hands, but then getting frustrated that he can't suck his thumb, or open his hand etc. and then pulls away suddenly and almost "surfboards"... and then he'll just repeat. Like you say, there are no tears Halo I think it's just them figuring out their limbs!
