My 14 month old was very early on the motor skills but late babbling. Started proper babbling at 10 months. She’s says Mumma and dadda very clear and loud, also says six, Ted (our dog), no, dog, dug and banana (da-nana) but slot of the time she will whisper Ted mainly and some times ball, socks, six and fish. We are confident it’s not autism as she makes plenty of eye contact, plays with us and children all the time and shows no signs of any other signs, has she got a speech problem or does she just like whispering? Also if anyone else had this how did they help turn it into her saying it more clearly ...thanks !

Sounds like she just likes whispering.

Kids are weird! She'll do all sorts of odd things over the next few years, you just get used to it.
