DS is 4.6 and his (second hand) garage that he has had since age 18 months has had it. The lift no longer works.

Just wondering whether it is worth asking Father Christmas for another one or if boys tend to grow out of their car obsession around this age...

Our son will be 5 next month and it definitely doesn´t look as though he´s growing out of his car obsession any time soon They´re everywhere, even under his pillow when he goes to bed. Every time we pass a toy shop the only things he looks at are (funnily enough) garages and cars. Maybe he´s going to be a mechanic

Well my dts are 6 and although both knew the makes of all cars at 2 its really only been Dt1 that still has the serious car obsession. He is now helping me pass the hazard perception test which is part of the driving theory test these days and he is doing better than I am in the practise tests so, no there is no certainty that this phase is over
