Turning 1 and still only drinks formula

Hi my son is turning 1 in a week, and he still only drinks formula. I started weaning at 6months and have tried purees BLW and he is simply not interested. He will not open his mouth. Hes under care of feeding team but they arent too concerned as hes still gaining weight. On last visit told me to try adding Madeira cake into yogurt which I did and he gagged and vomited. And now with coronavirus it's going to be a long time before he will be reviewed again. HV has no advice only that she wants him referred to peads but GP wont refer until after hes 1. Hes slightly delayed in gross motor skills. Has hardly ever rolled but gets round room by commando crawling. He will get up on all 4s but has made no attempt to move. He can weight bear very well and can stand assisted for 5 mins no problem. He is under physio as we had a traumatic birth and he had head flattening and tight neck which has been corrected, but she still reviews him every 6 weeks. I'm very frustrated and worried and just dont know where to turn as no one has any explanations or answers why hes not taking solids. Hes my 2nd baby and my daughter is 26mo so not long since I weaned her. Anyone any experiences or advice?? Many thanks for reading.

I think given his other issues and his traumatic birth, I wouldn't worry too much OP.

If he's not able to sit and pick the food up, he might simply not be ready to eat yet Smile

Hi hes able to sit and pick food up and hes able to bring a spoon to his mouth but it's more for teething, he chews on them. He already has 12 teeth, so feeding team think its because hes been teething constantly. Cut his 1st tooth at 4 months. Otherwise hes a happy chilled out boy, sleeps pretty much through the night unless hes teething. Thank you for your reply.
