My LG (now just turned 2) didn't babble really until alkost 12MO and although she said her first word (oh oh) at 11MO her speech took some time to get going. She's still not massively clear with her speech but has talked in sentences for a good couple of months and never shuts the hell up is becoming very chatty. Babbling I think is an 8-12 month skill unless you listen to the babygenius mums that will swear that their kid was reciting shakesphere at a month old Grin Your LO has plenty of time yet. If they're still not very chatty by a year then you might want to speak to the HV for some opinions and consider it against everything else that he can/can't do but for now I would just enjoy your baby, talk to him lots and give him time to answer back. It's more than likely he's absolutely fine xx

never shuts the hell up is becoming very chatty was how that was meant to be written. Damn where is the edit button when you fail at being funny?! Grin

Haha oh I'm so glad you took the time to get back to me that's made me feel so much better! He never stops 'talking' but no babbling as such, just lots of noises and raspberries 🤦‍♀️will have a conversation if we copy his noises but if you say mama Dada etc he just looks at you blank haha xx
