Milk drying up

hi, so my son is 10 days old, I unfortunately stopped breastfeeding him 3 days ago due to weight gain and just generally struggling to feed after a difficult start to ds being in special care unit.
I'm wondering how long it can take for your milk to dry up.
I have gone cold Turkey as I struggled to even hand express.
My boobs don't feel overly sore and are a lot softer.

I takin it's usually around a couple of weeks. If you find they are getting a little sore or too full, you can always express a little off for comfort.

Congratulations on your new LO too Thanks
