"I like Daddy and I like ds2, but I don't like Mummy cause she's grumpy"

So said ds1 (2.3) yesterday. And he got such a reaction he's been announcing it ever since - to the neighbours, my mother, the postie

I love being a mother.

Better rename yourself 2Grumpy then !

(I know how you feel. DS1 has taken to drawing pictures of me, showing what he thinks of me. I either have a cross next to me, or a tick and a heart. I will start to worry when he draws daggers ..... )

I could, MrsC, but would I then have to be 2Bashful, 2Sneezy etc too?!

LOL. Advise against 2Dopey tho!

I dunno - I think that might be the most accurate of all!!

Last year DS's nursey hit upon a fundraising idea where the kids do a picture of some sort, they frame them in cheap plastic frames, and sell them to parents at exorbitant prices.
So I had to shell out for a line drawing of what DS announced at the top of his voice was a 'picture of Grumpy Mummy'.
Sigh

At age 3 my dd1 said "when my mum's grumpy I call her 'mump"

It's now a family pet name for me whenever I'm moody
