Wow, we're only 5 days in and I'm pretty sure I've gone fully grey in this short time 😆 I suddenly have a whiney, whingy, abnormally strong, defiant and very loud baby !!! Nap times have turned into full on wrestling and play time is a series of different moves, laid down, sat up, stand up, bounce, arrgghhh what do you want!?? Only another 30 days to go 😳😳

Hi @popgoesperfection, our sweet, happy, calm baby turned into screamer. She's so loud and persistent. It has been like this for last two weeks. I'm also suspecting she's going through sleep regression. We went from waking up once a night at 4am to waking 4-6 times a night in better scenario. It's likely she wakes up at 3 and stays awake till 5-6am. I am exhausted, but still have a hope this will once pass. How was it for you?

Oh it's so hard isn't it !! How old is your lo? It seemed to last for weeks then got better with only one wake up but is still a bit hit and miss and lo is 6 month now.

Oh so hard 🙈, I'm taking deep breath as I write this😁 She's 17 weeks, I guess it's just too much of growing in the first year. It is great to know it will get at least a bit better, I'm not expecting miracles, just need some relief. I hope your lo settles into good sleeping pattern soon and brings you lot of joy ☺️

Hi we’re a week into leap 4 as well. LO is 13 weeks but 15 weeks gestational age. He was t a great sleeper before waking every two to four hours but now it’s hourly and he struggles to get back to sleep. Every feed is a struggle as he cries and he can’t be left to play at all. Can’t believe how long this leap is!

popgoesperfection · 08/06/2020 17:54

They do do loads of growing and learning in that first year don't they! It's amazing really isn't it, no wonder they're so unsettled when in a leap or spurt. Lo is frustrated at the moment as he's trying his hardest to move around the floor 🙈
