Newly potty trained - car seat protector?

Hello!

I hope this is the right board for posting this questioned.

My toddler is newly potty trained (one good outcome from having chicken pox!) and I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations/suggestions regarding protecting the car seat and buggy seat from potential accidents. I'd rather get something washable rather than disposable but also need something that will absorb well.

TIA x

How likely are accidents at the moment? I’d be tempted to say put a cloth over a large nappy. I think that would work better with disposable though, as washable is thicker so might make the seat uncomfortable.

Is he having accidents in the car? You could make your own with a layer of waterproof material (old coat or something) and a towel or microfiber cloth then just cut around the belt.

I bought something from amazon that was like a seat cover that you can put in the pram and car seat. Think by summer. Cheap and very good!
