Hitting?

Ok so my son is one next month and I feel like he’s got a really bad temper already! He’ll hit me in the face so I tell him no and he gets really moody about it but continues to hit me in the face. Every time I tell him no and take his hand away from my face.

What can I do?!

Im not sure whether this will be effective while he's so young, but i tend to say "oops, that's a bit rough, gentle hands" and redirect to softer touching. Then if he keeps going, say "that hurts, mummy can't play with you if you keep hitting her" and if he does it again say "i can't play with you if you hit me" and walk away

You can wait for his brain to grow bigger. And distract him, or physically turn him from you.

Our 2 year old went through a phase of this. I'd hold his hand and say "no we don't hit" as advised to. I was convinced it would never end, but one day suddenly realised he hadn't done it for ages!
