Hi all my 12 month old is a bum shuffler, my HV has said he will be a late walker but not to worry but I'm still concerned and was wondering if anyone elses LO have been like this? He has been bum shuffling since 11 months, sitting up and rolling over since 5 months but has never crawled. He walkes around one handed and has stood a few times but he won't pull up to stand at all, he also can't climb anything not even at soft play, nothing! I'm probably being paranoid but my elder 2 (age 5 &3) both hit milestones normally, both were crawlers and my middle LO was walking by this point!

Can he walk once up? My DD couldn’t crawl or pull up at this age, but I’d helped to her feet she could walk. I have pretty pathetic arms so I think she’s inherited them! She still doesn’t climb much at soft play at age 3 and can’t hold hang from a bar or anything. In all other ways she’s totally normal. Is he ok on all other milestones?

Hiya, yeah he walks holding one hand with no problem, and he has good head strength, he sat up at 5 months, rolled over at about 6/7 months, he eats food really well, feeds himself with a beaker and even says a few words (momo for milk, look, mumma), he points and does hi 5 and responds to his name but dosent clap very well and if he is sat down he scoots around on his bum and wouldn't even try and pull up to stand! If you stand him up he will coast furniture and he bends down to pick up toys up etc! My other kids have all crawled, walked and climbed so he is a bit of a mystery to me lol!
