Is my 12 week old teething or something else?

My 12 week old DD is constantly chewing her hand. At first I thought that it was just that she found her hand and was fascinated by it but she has been particularly cranky the past few days. Is she maybe teething? When I put my finger in her mouth she bites down on it and when I try to feed her she won't take it so it's not a hunger cue. Surely she is too young though? I can't see any signs of teeth in her gums

Very unlikely for her to be teething. That's what I thought too when my daughter did the same. She was also drooling lots too. It's a normal baby behaviour I think.

My 12wk DD is the same, and i too thought she was teething, but i think it is just a baby thing.

Pretty sure mine went through this stage, and most of my friends babies. I think it’s just something they can control and explore, they don’t have many options!
