Is it just the names he confuses or the actual colours? So if you showed him all the colours & asked him to show you the onethat was the same colour as a postbox, could he do it - even if he called it blue?

I think its normal, at 3 thier brains are taking in so much information its not surprising they get confused on the odd thing, try helping him by concentrating on only one of those colours first, and associate the colour with something else, for example forget blue for now, concentrate on red, fire engines are red, build towers only using red lego blocks etc etc.

OK I will try to focus on one COLOUR...
but he's just confuse with one colour...I mean two red and blue!

I'm sure your ds will get it sooner or later. BTW, I have taught a few children who didn't know their colours in Kindergarten (5yo). They seemed to pick them up remarkably quickly if you offered a coloured jelly bean (or sticker) and said "You can have it if you can tell me its colour"!
