Looking for other methods to try..
My son is a year and a half, and I’m looking for extra ideas to help him understand ‘no’ I've tried removing him and sitting him down, still 5 minutes later he does it again.. We also have an issue with throwing, throwing food on the floor, toys etc.. any advise would be great!

I can't be of much help but if he throws food on the floor, I'd simply ignore.

I don’t really have any ideas for throwing - we just had to ride that one out! But I think the key thing that works for us when saying no is to distract with something they are allowed to do. I take my DS away from whatever he’s not meant to be doing/playing with/climbing on and find a toy or book or even just tickle him so that he’s forgotten about the thing he was just doing. I always say no first so that he learns what the word means, and now that he understands he can just ignore me instead 🤣 though sometimes just saying the word in a low tone of voice is enough...
