DS is 3, typical fun loving boy. On the whole he's fine, but he of course has his moments of wanting to do things his way or being a bit more difficult.

Things like refusing to get in the bath, not sitting at dinner table, not coming to put shoes on. I always give notice and make sure he can finish his play, but there are times this doesn't work.

How do you respond in these situations? Can you help me!

Mine isn't 3 yet but close so I know the 'threenager' moments aren't far away. I've always found that if they can 'help' it makes it better so 'Oh could you show me how to sit at the table?' or if you give him a job so could he carry his bubble bath to the bathroom? Seems to help when my 2 year old is having a moment!
