When did your little ones first say mama?

21MO and still won't! Unless she's telling me off.... and even then she's more likely to shout 'dada' to get my attention .... good job she's so stinking adorable haha

Ah bless her .... my 10 month old son is saying mamamamama.... I like to think he is saying mama, but I think he is just making sounds!!

Quite possibly but not unheard of by any means that a 10MO would be saying his 1st word either. Just go with it and say 'that's right I'm your mama'

Took til 22months until we got mama or dada! My DS had quite a few words before he bothered to learn to say our names but it just happened one morning out of nowhere!! I was feeling massively inpatient for him to say it considering every other baby I knew said it much earlier!

Im pretty sure I've heard my 21MO call me my actual name a few times but rarely mama/mummy

My son was saying mamamama and dadadada from around 8 months. He is a late walker but was such an early babbler and never shuts up! However I don't think he said them with meaning, so I didn't count them as actual words, just sounds that he enjoyed making. I expected him to be an early talker as he was so ahead with babbling... but now at 15 months he's surprisingly still not using actual words for meaning! He is incredibly vocal still though and says mama dada nana, baba and gaga plus loads of other 'words'... but I still don't think with any actual meaning attached.

My 10 month old has yet to crawl so wondering if he will be a late talker?!
