When did your kid sing?

So this might be a really random concern but I'm very musical myself and am desperate for my 21MO to sing but nothing yet The closest I've heard is her shouting 'carcarcarcar' which I think was her trying to sing the wiggles 'toot toot chugga chugga big red car' she's quite rhythmic when she wants to and will copy actions to songs quite well and sometimes even does we will rock you accurately. I should add as well that she's only really 'taking off' with her speech in the last few weeks. When did your kids sing? Does this mean she probably won't be musical? I'll obviously love her just as much even if she's tone deaf haha but just curious.

Am struggling to remember really, tuneful noises from about 2 I suppose then they went to a singing class at 4. I have a video of my ds age just turned 4 singing "castle on a cloud" very nicely. I think you have a while to go before it takes a proper shape in your lo case though.

Yes I know she's far too young to be carrying a tune yet but so many people I know seem to be claiming that their kids at least tried to hum a tune at before even age 1 so it feels like this is late. It could just be that she's so bloody sick of me constantly singing to her and too busy telling me off for singing to her that she has no energy left to try singing

My Dd is nowhere musical (neither me and Dh) but I remember she started making up songs/tunes when she was 2.5ish.
