2.5 year old constantly drinking from bottle

Hi All,

Can I ask what is a normal amount of milk for a 2.5 year old to be drinking per day? And also what is your toddler drinking it out of?

My Daughter has recently become obsessed with a certain bottle that a family member bought for her. We then purchased a couple of these as well, but she now asks for a bottle of milk literally the entire day. We think she is using it as a comforter as she sits with it and drinks it really really slowly. As soon as she finishes one bottle, she is asking for the next one.

I'm thinking of throwing all bottles out and letting her pick a sippy cup or something and telling her that it's a grown up girls cup and only allowing her to drink from that when she wants a milk as I think this might put her off the constant drinking.

Any advice welcome :).

She only needs 300 ml if full fat milk a day.

I'd tell her you'd sent the bottles to a baby and she could now have a cup of milk at snack time or with breakfast.
