21 month old walking on turned foot

We waited a long time for ds to walk. He finally got up and walked a few weeks ago and we have been so excited.

I have noticed that he does walk with a turned foot slightly, kind of like he is putting all his weight on his ankles. His big toe side turns in and he puts almost no pressure on the baby toe side IYSWIM.

None of this prevents him walking though and he is getting better every day. I am just paid to worry and it is what I do best
He was never interested at all in walking until recently, so I am hoping it is just him not knowing what to do yet. He is fine in the shoes we bought for him recently. I will say that I don't think there was any physical reason for his late walking. HV said he was perfectly normal. He never even tried walking before and always wanted to be held. He is going through a real independent stage right now.

The turned foot is just something my SIL mentioned and she said he may need a brace!!! Now she has zero child development education, so I wonder if I should give him a bit of time to sort himself out or immediately get a brace fitted. Would ask HV, but getting an appointment for a child his age is so difficult where we live!

???? Anyone else ever come across this?!

Not experience as such. I hv 4 kids and they all walk different. Try not to worry, sometimes HV do know what they're talking about! I would go to gp just to put mind at rest.
