Dd2 just lifted my skirt up so she could see my bum!

me: "what are you doing?"

dd2: "looking at your bum to see if it's the same as mine and ds's"

me: "it's very rude to look at people's bums without asking. If you want to know something, you ask, ok?"

dd2: "ok"

pause

dd2: "mum, can I look at your bum?"

me: "NO!"

Should I have shown her that my bum is the same as hers and ds's? I don't know which bit she wanted to look at, so it may not have been the same!

I presume you are talking about the 3 yr old and not the 13 yr old!

I would probably have let her look but only the once for the purposes of science. And explained that we only ask Mummy and Daddy if we are curious, not other people.
