Hi all.
My ds is nearly 7months old and for the past few weeks hes become very fidgetty during the night. He flaps his arms to the point that hes hitting the sides of the cot, he manages to work his way from the bottom of the cot to the top all whilst hes asleep. Hes no longer having a feed during the night. Should i be concerned.? I know hes overtired at the moment as with the xmas hols the routine has all changed and hes fighting sleep during the day. Sorry this is so long.

This sounds just like my little man who is 7 months in 3 days. My eldest just turned 2 and he did the same at that age. I was told it’s just because they starting to get more active during the day they become more active at night ( even in their sleep ). My HV said to think of it like when we get excited and can’t sleep because we going on holiday or something exciting is happening the next day, that’s what it’s like for a baby learning new skills. as I remember it only lasted a couple of weeks with DS1

Oh id never thought of that. My oldest ds whos 8 slept like a log, hardly moved at all. Hope it does only last a couple of weeks.
