My 2.5 year old has become really aggressive. He punches, screams and shouts and doesn't get on with any of the kids. He keeps hitting them or snatches their toys or throws their toys at them.
He has started to hit me too. Last week he was really ill for 5 days with a high temperature and at the same time he was weaned off his pacifier (third attempt and started weaning him off before his illness).
He wakes at night and starts punching me-he used to wake up and take his paci to fall back asleep.
Also mostly he doesn't go to familiar adults except me. Sometimes he does but he's not affectionate like his other cousins. If there are other kids, he would annoy them and if someone (e.g. grandma) looks at him, he screams and says stop.
I try to take him away from the situation but it doesn't seem to affect him.
There's one cousin who is 6 and he keeps hitting him for no reason. I've stopped seeing my family as much because he gives me such a hard time and I have to follow him everywhere. He doesn't go to anyone and fights with the kids.
Should I be concerned?
