Hello all,
I have a wee boy who turns 2 mid March. He is such an amazing boy who is energetic, funny but also very (very) opinionated. I feel like everything with him is a battle. I don't want to 'punish' him for things that he does (try to do unconditional parenting) and try to use as much positive language as I can but I am struggling. This morning so far he has refused to take of his pyjamas, refused to sit in the shopping trolley (screamed when I put him in, wanted me to pick him up but since I'm 39w pregnant that's not an option), refused to sit in high chair for lunch ("no play, no play") and I can predict another battle before nap time. I try distracting, positive praise, explaining to him but he just wants his way.
I am really struggling here so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
