Baby suddenly scared

Hi, my dd is almost 6 months now and has suddenly decided that she is now terrified of the hair dryer, I’ve always had her in the room with me when I dry my hair ever since she became active so probably from about 3 months. She cries hysterically when I turn it on. She’s fine with hand dryers in toilets and other loud noises. I’ve let her touch and explore the hair dryer, but she still cries when it’s on, what’s happened? What do I do?

My son went through that for a few months. He was terrified of the hair dryer, hand dryer in public toilets and the blender. It's totally normal. He got over it eve ntuslly but in the meantime I didn't use that stuff in front of him as it made him scream his head off!
