Hi all, my lo is 15 months and is constantly falling over, bumping his head, walking into things. His face is a constant bruised area. Is this normal? Had the doctor check out his ears and he's fine. Anyone had similar?

Yes - a day rarely goes by when he hasn't bumped into something! He's fine though - just an energetic boy. He'll be 3 in October but had stitches in his head by the time he was 18 months old.

My DS was like this too. Some of it is pretty normal for 15 months - still getting the hang of walking, developing awareness of space around them etc. I came to the conclusion with my ds that half the problem was his rush to get anywhere. He was equally covered in bruises from walking into things and falling over. At 4 he is still a clumsyish child due to his impatience to get where he wants to be - so we still have bruises but less of them than before. He was a dreadful head banger too (in rage) which added to the bruises already there.

Mine too. He's 2.5 but he has always been like this. I feel so sad for him sometimes. He sprints falls, cries, gets up, sprints, falls, cries, gets up, sprints...

He seems to want to go everywhere as fast as he possibly can. His dad's the same and he's forty!
