So bare with me as bit of a long one.
The history is this My son is 2 (3 in March) and has delayed speech and trouble eating. When he was a baby I completely failed with breastfeeding and had to formula feed as he lost so much weight (went from the 98th percentile to the 15th ðŸ˜). He is currently under a speech and language therapist.
Well I thought the other day that maybe he could have a tongue tie and after an appointment with the GP today he confirmed he does have a tongue tie and is referring us to the paediatric surgeons although he said that they can sometimes be reluctant to do it.
Has anyone had a tongue tie cut in their toddler? And do you think they'd likely do it considering he barely has any words and also he struggles with eating.
Thanks
