8 month old doesn’t respond to his name

So this is my second post but my 8 month old son doesn’t respond to his name when I call him. If I say “no” in a growling tone he will look 95% of the time. But his name? Never! When my partner says it he will look 70% of the time but I’m not too sure if that’s because he knows it’s his name or he just likes the way his dad says it! Would love to hear when everyone’s babies started responding! X

12 months before it was consistent. The NHS cite it as a 12 month milestone (ignore babycenter who I think put it as a 5-7 month milestone - that gave me sleepless nights!) and in my experience that’s pretty accurate. Don’t worry at all 🙂
