Feel rejected by my 2.5 year old

Pretty much that really. Which sounds really childish, but as soon as Daddy or Nanny's are about I am totally invisible. I know he's still so young and is probably used to me always being there, but it does hurt. Today we drove past my sister in law, my son started crying as he wanted to see her (she never makes much of an effort with us) then went on to say 'auntie rara new mummy'. Again I know hes two years old but it did upset me.

Anyone else have experience of this? I feel bad because it must've been obvious to him that I was upset, afterwards he kept saying 'mummy be happy'.

My DD (almost 2) is exactly the same. She rejects me when her nan (my mum's around). To be honest it does hurt but then how great is it that they love (and are loved by other people).

Also two year olds are fickle! Please don't take it personally.
