Hi my LO is 8 months in a weeks time. She's recently started to get so clingy in the day and doesn't want anyone holding her but me (even family and close friends who she knows). She'll just whinge and whinge. I can barely put her down to shower. She's always had help going to sleep but the past few nights it's taking two hours in the night to settle her in her cot by herself. I don't even need to hold her I just say shh once and she goes back off because she knows I'm there but only for about 1 minute before she cries again. I was going to try controlled crying but if it is separation anxiety then will this not work?? She's also just cut two bottom teeth.
