Hi,

My firstborn laughed at about 9 weeks and never stopped after that! But my daughter is 6months old now and has not laughed yet?
Should I be worried ?

Thanks :)

DD didn't laugh till 6 months and it wasnt very often even then till about 10 months. Dont know if that's unusual but she seems happy enough now at 15 months.

My boy was about 9 or 10 weeks but I know some people whose babies took months and months to laugh. One baby is a year old and hardly ever laughs even now! They're all different.

My first DS was 12 weeks and my second DS was 9 weeks (it's still so easy to make him laugh now at 7 months!). I definitely know of people whose babies were about 6 months though.

My DD was 12 weeks old when she first laughed but it was v irregular and infrequent for months. To be honest even at 15m she doesn't laugh that much compared to other babies, she's very sensitive and shy and you have to work very hard for a laugh! It's just her personality, maybe your DC is similar?
