Hi, wasn't sure which section to put this in, but this is as good as any!

Ok questions i've got are.....

Have you ever come across a child (this one happens to be aged just 2) who spit? like a shower of spit non stop for 10-15mins or gobfuls of it over and over again? How do I stop this?

Same child also chews and spits food, throws food, have you successfully dealt with this?

Am hoping and praying you know the answers to these

Hmm, sounds unusual. I had two little ones the eldest a two year old who would spit when he was annoyed about something but not the amounts you describe.

I think a lot of two year olds test the boundries to get a reaction from you. Is this one of your mindees?

Yes, apparently he is copying his next door neighbour, his mum says she tells him no and puts him in his room for it. The other day he wouldnt stop doing it so i sat him in the highchair by the back door so at least he wasn't covering the house in spit but he does it when we're out in the car which is not nice for the other mindees plus i dont really want my car covered in spit, also its not hygienic, it turns out he has got chicken pox this week and i will be most suprised if my dd2 hasn't caught it as she was sat in the seat infront of him when he was spitting. I've tried saying no and ignoring it but i've never come across this before and am baffled by it.

Tell his mum to keep him away from his neighbour, seriously it sounds awful.

He also caught chicken pox from the kid next door lol at asking her to keep him away from them, tempting though!

I'm hoping its a phase that he will have grown out of by ummm next monday!! Seriously though I dont know what to do, the helmet is an idea if i thought he would keep it on his head, this is the child who can climb out of car seats, travel cots and pushchairs.......
